West 57th and Cambie - a New Development by ONNI

57th and Cambie is a huge new condo development by ONNI Group in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health VCH.  

Status:  Condo Presales - Registration Phase

Address: West 57th Ave and Cambie Street in Vancouver's Cambie corridor.  Located in the prestigious Vancouver Westside.

Details: Onni Group is developing 2 large land parcels of the Pearson Dogwood Lands from VGH totalling 22.18 acres–a 5.81 portion that runs parallel to Cambie Street and 16.37 acres located on the western portion of the site. The plan is to develop a master planned community of mixed use commercial, residential and retail with lots of green space and community gardens.  Rumours of an additional skytrain station as well. 

Under the terms of the partnership, VCH will retain a 3.2-acre parcel of the 25.4-acre site, which will be developed for health care and community uses.

Details about this project are still scarce,  according to the City of Vancouver website http://vancouver.ca/home-property-development/pearson.aspx Onni was to submit a rezoning appilcation by Fall 2015, however to date I can't find anything in progress.  I noticed a big ONNI sign has gone up along the corner of Cambie and 57th recently but in reality we are probably quite a long time from selling these units.
